Strategies for Goal 1 and 2
Comments:
Could we have examples of the racist incidents in schools and the statistics on how many teachers are "racially insensitive,"and how many are not ? (along with the research methods used) Also, statistics on the positive or negative effects of such "training," plus the costs, qualification and validity of "trainers" on the subject? How does the  cost spent on workshops and "diversity directors" compare (benefit/cost analysis?) with the pros and cons (and public opinion) of closing schools?  Last, it would be helpful to know if stereotyping one ethic group (as a whole) as "in need" of sensitivity training and one group (take your pick) as victimized is still considered valid, in this era of the burgeoning "minority" middle class?  Thank you.
